Hallo allemaal.
Ik wil graag iedereen bedanken voor jullie lieve reacties en beste wensen! Ik ben niet iemand die snel persoonlijke dingen deelt via het internet maar omdat ik zoveel aardige reacties heb gekregen wil ik jullie wel even uitleggen dat ik niet ziek ben van een griep ofzo. Ik ben chronisch ziek, ik heb oa fibromyalgie en CVS. Dat betekend dat ik naast veel pijn oa erg weinig energie heb en veel op bed lig. Op het moment heb ik een periode dat het allemaal extra moeilijk gaat en vandaar dat het me dus ook extra moeite kost om te kunnen tekenen. Maar ik heb vandaag weer m'n best gedaan voor jullie en ik hoop dat jullie deze weer leuk vinden :-) Nu weten jullie in ieder geval de reden waarom het soms wat langer duurt voordat er weer een nieuwe digi op m'n blog verschijnt maar ik hoop dat jullie regelmatig blijven komen kijken want ik blijf m'n best doen zo veel mogelijk te tekenen!

Hi everybody.
I would like to thank you all for your lovely comments and best wishes. I am not the person who shares her personal life easily on the internet but since i got so many sweet comments i would like to explain to you that i am not having a cold or something like that. I am chronicly ill, i have fibromyalgia and ChronicFatiguedSyndrome. Which means that besides a lot of pain i have very little energy and i have to spent a lot of time in bed. At this moment i am having a period that things are extra heavy which means it makes it harder for me to draw. But i have done my very best today to make a new digi for you, i hope you like it :-) Now you know the reason why sometimes it takes a bit longer before i can place a new digi on my blog but i do hope you will keep coming back because i will continue to do my very best to draw as much as possible!

I am sorry to hear that you are a fellow fibromyalgia/CFS sufferer. These are not only painful and, at times, debilitating, they are also very misunderstood -- even by the medical profession.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am presently trying Kombucha tea and I find that it gives me a great boost of energy. Once you get your first scoby started, it is a very cheap way to improve your health. Look it up. It might be something that can help you too.
In the meantime, I am so happy you were able to draw this adorable little mouse. With all the Halloween images going around right now, he is a welcome breath of fresh air. Thank you.

I have a friend with fibro and a sister with Lupus (a disease very similar to fibro) and I have been enimic and have a very bad back so I understand what you are going through. The pain is bad enough, but the constant feeling of being tired and lethargic is extremely debilitating. I think that you are wonderful for continuing to draw these fabulous images when you are able.

Wens je snel weer een betere periode toe!Hier in huis wordt er regelmatig op verzoek ook voor de kids een velletje 'sliekjes' geprint, waarna we er met z'n drietjes mooie kleurtjes aan geven. Zelfs onze vijfjarige zoon kan er lang zoet mee zijn.

Oh honey, I know this pain! I have fibromyalgia and six herneated discs! Hugs to you! Have you tried cymbalta? It helps me and has removed about 70% of my pain, although I still have bad times! I hope you feel better soon! And thank you for the little mouse! I love your mouse stamps the best!

Still I understand some of what you are going through. My thoughts are with you. Have you tried drinking lemongrass tea I find it helps with the muscle pains, it's also good for colds and flu. If you can't get the tea bags buy the loose herb from the shop and make like loose tea.

I wanted to send you a note of support, I just found your blog today and I too have fibro and CFS and it can be totally disabling at times. I know that this is an old post but it is the one that you wrote about yourself the most on and I want you to know that I am thinking of and praying for you. You are not alone in your suffering. I have Crohn's Disease and Depression and have not been well or working for a long time. I also had the terrible loss of my sweet Mica. She was 15 and part Burmese. She was my child, like your babies are yours and I feel as though I will never get over losing her. She woke me up to pass on in my arms while I sang her song to her.
